| O número de espécies de quirópteros infectadas pelo vírus da raiva (RABV) tem sido crescente. Até o momento, 42 espécies de três famílias foram identificadas no Brasil. Os dados sobre a prevalência do vírus nestas espécies e a importância destas na manutenção dos diferentes ciclos da raiva, ainda são escassos. | Study about the accordance of rice insect pests from the light trap and the research data of insects in the rice seed of San-pah-tawng 1 (weak) and that of SuphanBuri 1 (resistant) was conducted from the year 2011 to 2013 at the Chiang Rai Rice Research Center. It’s found that the rice insect pests entrapped by the light trap being increased from the year 2007 to 2010. | The objective of this study was to update the ranking of the coefficients of variation (CVs) from maize experiments and evaluate the accuracy of the data from the latest Brazilian publications. We rank-ordered the CVs for grain yield, plant and ear heights, number of ears per plant, and weight of commercial ears, except for the weight of 100 grains. The data were obtained from 143 scientific papers published from 2005 to 2010. The classification was based on the average (m) and standard deviation (SD) and the CVs were ranked as low, intermediate, high and very high. | Para incrementar la probabilidad de establecimiento de pastos, en siembras de temporal en zonas semiáridas, se caracterizaron física y fisiológicamente semillas de Banderita, Navajita; Buffel y Rhodes y, en base a dimensiones y utilizando tamiz, se clasificaron por tamaño de cariópside (TC) en chicos (Cch), medianos (CM) y grandes (CG). En Banderita y Buffel, los diámetros de tamiz para CG, CM y Cch fueron de 0.70, 0.59 y 0.50 mm y para Navajita y Rhodes, 0.59, 0.50 y 0.42 mm, respectivamente.
